- Remove urine-soiled spots every day and deep-clean the enclosure weekly.
- Switch to dust-free paper bedding or aspen wood pellets.
- Never use scented products, fragrances or pine/cedar shavings.
- Persistent eye/nose discharge needs a vet visit - ask for bacterial culture and a sensitivity test.

Comfortable range 18-24 C, humidity 40-60%; vulnerable rabbits need extra care.

Recommended actions
- In hot weather run air conditioning set to about 24-26 C.
- Offer a frozen ice bottle wrapped in a towel to lean against.
- Move the cage off the balcony and out of direct AC/heater airflow.
- In winter add thick bedding; keep the room above the 10-15 C hard minimum.
- Suspected heatstroke: wipe the ears with a damp (not icy) towel and seek emergency vet care immediately.
